TOHUM ‘s values are based on legal, moral and ethical behavior. TOHUM pays serious attention to protect these values in every business or solution partnership. TOHUM operates in accordance with a general code of business ethics and has an outstanding track record of quality. It also supports international initiatives such as the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Companies, the United Nations Global Compact and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights.

The statement of TOHUM ‘s General Code of Business Ethics and Charter clearly states that TOHUM respects the human rights and dignity of all its employees and business partners and is part of the fight to prevent bribery and other similar crimes. TOHUM ‘s principles inform all employees, contractors and third parties of TOHUM ‘s expectations and responsibilities and obligations in relation to its core values.

ETHICS LINE and COMPLAINT / SUGGESTION PROCEDURES

TOHUM is committed to complying with all laws, regulations, contractual or ethical obligations in the sectors in which it operates, as well as the essence and spirit of its fundamental corporate values.

As part of TOHUM ‘s commitment to legal, ethical and moral business practices, TOHUM has suggestion and grievance procedures for those working under its structure, individuals working on its behalf and third parties to report problems with TOHUM or its personnel.

Employees or third parties have the opportunity to make their reports about TOHUM online in complete confidence and anonymously to the e-mail address etik@tohum.com.tr Reports to this address will be reviewed directly by the founders or their authorized personnel.

Even the possibility of retaliation against anyone who makes a suggestion or complaint is prohibited.


COMMITMENT TO PROTECT HUMAN RIGHTS

TOHUM ‘s core values and beliefs are centered on adhering to and living by the principles of human rights as well as humanitarian law. As part of its commitment to carry out its activities on a legal, moral and ethical level, TOHUM has adopted a human rights policy that applies throughout its entire structure in order to make its employees more aware and educated. This policy states that TOHUM ‘s business processes and actions should be guided by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other applicable human rights instruments and principles. These include the Chemical Weapons Convention, the Convention against Torture, the Geneva Conventions (including the Additional Protocols to the Geneva Conventions) and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. TOHUM is also committed to supporting international and local efforts to combat and eradicate human trafficking, corruption or financial crime.
